Aussie Millions Satellite Package - Qualify for the PokerShare Aussie Millions Package today!
The package will be worth €10,000, including the $10,500 AUS Main Event buy-in, 10 nights’ stay at the Crown Promenade Hotel and €2,150 travel / spending money. Players’ accounts will need to be credited in advance with the travel/spending money.
Two packages for the Main Event will be guaranteed, one through each of the Monthly €1,350 Finals. Daily Satellite buy-ins will start at just €4.
The Aussie Millions is not only the 6th largest poker tournament in the world, but the largest offline poker tournament in the southern hemisphere. The tournament will commence in Melbourne Australia on the 14th Jan 2010 and will complete on 31st Jan 2010.
The Aussie Millions expects to have an eight million dollar prize pool, with two million going to the winner. The Main Event will take place at the Crown Casino Resort - and will run from the 24th January until the 31st January. The buy-in has been set at 10,500 Australian Dollars but you can qualify at PokerShare for as little as $4 US. The Crown Casino has also announced an expected first prize of $2.5 million for the no-limit hold’em main event.
Alongside the main tournament, there will be about twenty smaller tournaments, including the High Roller tournament - where $100,000 is played in two days, and a HORSE tournament. The poker tournament boasts over 2,000 individual entrants including more than 400 from other countries. The latest 2009 Championship had 18 official events and a guaranteed 1st place prize of $2M AUD!
Daily online poker tournament Satellites will run at 14:30, 17:00, 18:45, 21:00 & 23:30 (gmt). The buyin for the daily satellites will be €4 + €0.40 – 2 seats per tournament will be guaranteed to the Aussie Millions Daily Finals.
The Aussie Millions Daily Finals will run Monday to Friday (and Sunday when there is no Monthly Final) at 19:00 (gmt). The buyin for the Daily Finals is €25 + €2.50 (3 rebuys available in first hour plus €10 Add On). 2000 starting chips and 12 minute blinds with 2 seats from each Daily Final guaranteed into the Aussie Millions Weekly Finals.
There are also Weekly Satellites into the Aussie Millions Weekly Finals, starting the night before the weekly final at 14:30, 17:00, 18:45, 21:00 & 23:30 (gmt) with a €25 + €2.50 buyin and one seat guaranteed into the Weekly Finals.
The Aussie Millions Weekly Finals will run ever Saturday into the next Monthly Final at 19:00 (gmt). The buyin for the weekly final is €165 + €10 with one €50 rebuy available in the first hour plus one €50 add-on. 2500 starting chips and 15 minute blind intervals, with 2 seats guaranteed into the Aussie Millions Monthly Final.
Aussie Millions Monthly Final will run on the 6th December and January 3rd at 19:00 (gmt). The buyin for the Monthly Final is €1250 + €100. This is a ‘freeze out’ tournament with no rebuys or add-ons. The tournament starting chips are 5000, with 20 minute blind intervals and one Aussie Millions Satellite Package guaranteed for each Monthly Final.
