Why is the tournament buy-in split into two parts?
The tournament fees are divided into two amounts for the following reason: in a
regular table game a 'rake' is taken from the pot as a fee for providing the table,
but this cannot be done in a tournament as there is a limited number of chips in
play. Because of this the tournament buy-in is split into the prize pool amount
and the tournament fee. The first amount (the larger one) is the amount that is
contributed to the prize pool that people are playing for, and the second amount
(the smaller amount) is the fee that is paid to the company for providing the software.
All online poker sites offer tournament play using this model.
What happens if I register for a tournament and it doesn't start
If the tournament doesn't start the server will shut down any tables that have been
opened. Any fees and buy-ins will be refunded.
What happens if a multi-tournament is disconnected?
In the event of a multi table tournament (MTT) being cancelled due to technical
difficulties, all affected players will be refunded according to our tournament
cancellation policy within 24 hours of the tournament being cancelled.
What happens if two players are eliminated in the same hand?
If you are eliminated in the same hand as another player in a tournament then the
player who had more chips at the start of the hand will be awarded the higher position.
In the rare event of 2 players being eliminated in the same hand with the exact
same chip stack, the 2 players will both be awarded the same position in the tournament.
Should this occur during the prize placings, the relevant prizes will be evenly
distributed between the 2 players.
How long will it take for my tournament winnings to be paid to me?
Tournament winnings will usually be paid out immediately once the tournament is
finished. Please notice that eventual winnings are not paid out when you are eliminated.
Please allow up to one hour for the tournament prize to reflect in your bankroll.
